There is no problem which has no solution. Look at current world problems we face now. World hunger, drugs, prostitution, war, AIDS, child slavery, poverty, threat of a nuclear war and running out of resources such as fossil fuels and arable land.
There is a reason why all these problems are there to stay. No one wants to solve them. People just don't care. You don't tell me you care about the people dying in a foreign land because you aren't even there. It doesn't affect you therefore I find it hard to believe that you care. Even if you do care, you don't care enough to do something about it.
Wars can be solved, because generals can be likened to little kids with big guns. I'm sure every man out there, was a boy once who wished he had big, big guns and could terrorize the neighbourhood school kids. Just take away their weapons. There are politicians out there who would like to complicate the matter of war. War isn't just a diplomatic tool to deal with others, it is also a tool to divert attention from the country's problems and focus on beating some other poor country up. Tell me this sounds reasonable.
Then there is the problem of poverty. The people with the means to overcome this problem are the people with money, and I don't see them willing to give up their hard earned dollars to do something about this. Why bother?
Look the entire crux of the problems is that no one wants to do anything about it, and the maine xcuse given is why should we? Why should we, indeed?
Because who else is there?
